01How we price

Three principles. No fine print.

/ 01 — Tier bands

Simple size-based pricing.

Starter is for one location, Growth covers up to five, Professional covers up to twenty-five, and Enterprise is custom beyond that. You are not charged per arrangement, per disclosure delivered, or per family served.

/ 02 — Annual default

Long enough to mean something.

Annual contracts run 17% below monthly. Compliance is a long game — the platform is most valuable in year two and beyond, when the audit trail has accumulated and renewals are automated. Monthly is available without lock-in.

/ 03 — Free for families

Your buyer pays. Nobody else.

Families never touch a payment screen. Staff don't pay for their training records. Vendors don't pay to upload an insurance certificate. Only the operating organization is charged through the selected plan and any approved add-ons.

02Compare every plan

Start with the core. Scale into the command center.

Starter gives a single home the core Funeral Rule workspace. Growth turns that into a multi-location operating layer. Professional adds the compliance officer tools, reporting depth, and integrations regional operators need.

03Modules & add-ons

Beyond the federal rule, when you need it.

The base platform covers the FTC Funeral Rule end-to-end. Modules layer on for state-specific compliance, preneed exposure, cremation authorization, and the documentation work that lawyers ask for when something goes sideways.

Module · State compliance

State regulatory overlay

State-specific rules layered on top of the federal Funeral Rule. Each state license you operate under generates its own obligations, forms, and retention requirements. Pay once per state per location.

$49
/ mo · per state
Module · Preneed

Preneed contract intelligence

Preneed contracts carry the heaviest long-tail compliance risk in the industry. Track trust funding, escrow obligations, beneficiary changes, and state-by-state disclosure rules from one workspace.

Module · Cremation

Cremation authorization tracking

Cremation now accounts for over 60% of services. The authorization chain — identification, family consent, witness requirements, retort logs — is where liability concentrates. Tracked end-to-end.

04Common questions

Pricing, contracts, and how billing actually works.

Don't see your question? Email sales.

01What counts as a "location" for pricing?
A location is a single funeral home with its own FTC Funeral Rule obligations — meaning its own General Price List and physical place of business. A combined funeral home and cemetery counts as one location. A separate branch with its own GPL counts as two. Acquired locations move you into the next plan band when needed, with a 30-day migration window before billing changes.
02How does multi-state pricing work?
Core federal FTC Funeral Rule readiness is included in every plan. The State Regulatory Compliance module ($49/state/location/month) layers state-specific obligations on top. A location operating under one state license pays once; a location operating across two state lines pays for both overlays. Most homes need only one state — groups operating near borders typically need two.
03Can we change plans mid-contract?
Upgrades happen on request and are prorated to the day — common when groups acquire additional locations. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal so we don’t disrupt active compliance work. Annual plans can be expanded any time; reductions roll to the next term. Acquisitions get a 30-day grace period before they move you into the next plan band.
04What's included in onboarding?
Starter includes guided self-serve onboarding at no charge. Growth and Professional can add implementation support when you want help migrating historical GPLs, staff records, disclosure logs, and state rule configuration. Enterprise implementations are scoped per organization.
05Annual vs monthly — what's the catch?
Annual is about 17% cheaper because compliance is most valuable in year two — the audit trail compounds, the version history accumulates, and renewals are automated. Monthly costs more but is cancellable at the end of any cycle. No auto-escalators and no usage minimums beyond your selected plan band.
06Discounts for state associations or first-year operators?
Yes — association and first-year operator discounts can be applied to Starter and Growth plans during the pilot. Use the sales walkthrough to verify eligibility before the contract is generated.
07What happens if we acquire or divest locations?
Acquired locations receive a 30-day migration window at no charge. After that they move into the appropriate plan band, prorated for the remaining term. Divested locations are removed at the next renewal and their full audit history can be exported to the new operator as a sealed PDF or transferred to their own Funeral Sentry account if applicable.
08What's the cancellation policy?
Monthly plans cancel at the end of the billing cycle. Annual plans cancel at the end of the term. Your full compliance history — every GPL version, audit trail, staff record, and disclosure log — can be exported at any time as JSON, CSV, or sealed PDF with hashed integrity. We don’t gate your records on the way out. Compliance data belongs to the operator who created it.
